Tina Garrett
Tina Garrett is a contemporary American oil painter and portrait/figurative artist known for her emotionally resonant, dramatic artworks. Her contemporary realist paintings exude emotional presence and psychological depth through her evocative use of light, color and atmospheric quality. Collectors and critics alike note her ability to blend technical excellence with a poetic sensibility. She is recognized as one of the leading women in contemporary representational art.
Garrett began studying oil painting in 2012 with a merit scholarship at the Scottsdale Artists’ School. Since then, she has studied and refined her craft through workshops and private instruction with well-known artists. She has achieved the Art Renewal Center designation of Living Master Artist; and Master Artist status from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society. She leads workshops across the United States and abroad at respected art institutions like Scottsdale Artists’ School, Denver Art Students League, and The Florence Studio in Italy.
