Karen Nicolaij Glancy
Karen Nicolaij Glancy is a California-based painter specializing in atmospheric landscapes, coastal scenes and ocean views, still life and floral paintings. She is inspired by the natural light and open environments of the American west and coastal California. She works primarily in pastels, acrylics and oils.
Glancy’s artwork has been well represented in many national and local exhibitions, wherein she has received numerous awards and recognition. Glancy serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment – SCAPE. Her painting, The Methusela Oak, was featured in the Sierra Club National News Letter, 2021.
