Pronghorn Antelope by Margaret Drake

This is the latest sculpture by Margaret Drake. It has just been delivered to the foundry for casting in bronze. 

Did you know that pronghorn antelope are the only members of their genus species in the world? There are no other animals closely related to pronghorn anywhere. They have a unique head shape and very small fine legs. They were quite a challenge to sculpt. Margaret says it took her about five takes on each of the heads to finish them correctly. Looking forward to the bronze casting!
