Stephanie Burk
Stephanie Burk paints scenes of the American west, places she loves, animals she loves, and people loves. She splits her time between her home in Texas and her cabin in Colorado. Time spent in these places allows her to paint the Texas landscape and culture as well as the beauty of the San Luis Valley in Colorado.
Her source material is always from important places and events in her life, giving her a deep connection to the composition. Stephanie’s goal is for the viewer to feel as though they have stepped into the landscape, find respite from the daily grind, and for a brief moment absorb the peace of the natural world.
