She worked to perfect her pencil drawings concentrating mostly on animals and people. Then life happened and she moved onto other things.
In 2019, Rosie found her artistic journey again when she signed up for an oil painting class. She works regularly with a mentor and takes annual workshops from her most admired artists. Rosie has developed a distinctive style that combines meticulous detail with emerging abstract elements. Her craft is continually evolving.
A lifelong lover of nature and animals, Rosie finds inspiration in the world around her, translating her passion into compelling, lifelike imagery. Her work has been recognized by the Portrait Society of America, where she recently achieved finalist status in the still-life category with her painting “Napa Heirloom Tomatoes.”
