Pam Holnback
Pam Holnback creates contemporary impressionist oil paintings. She finds inspiration in nature, her travels, and in her home and garden. Each painting is done with loose, spontaneous brushwork that expresses the light and color that she sees. The principles of art and elements of design are basic in the initial drawing and development of each painting. She produces artworks both en plein air and in her studio.
Holnback majored in Art Education in college. During her college years and thereafter, she spent six years studying, traveling and teaching in Europe, the Middle East and South America. She continued her career, teaching art for twenty-eight years. She has additionally studied with many living masters, continuing to hone her creative skills. Her artworks have been juried into many local, state and national exhibitions.
