Kathy Rippy–Fleming/Aubrey Kyle
Kathy Rippy-Fleming is an American artist, photographer, and novelist creating under the pseudonym, Aubrey Kyle. She works in the realist tradition with especial interest in portraiture centered on Western heritage and Native American imagery. She also enjoys portraying animals and flowers.
Kyle began her painting career at a moment when she was feeling the need for a new direction in her life. Her husband suggested that she should paint and she credits his suggestion for changing her life. She now travels the country, meeting models and learning about history, which lends much authenticity to her sensitively painted portraits.
