“Having grown up in Nevada, and California, Cathryne sees the world with a Western viewpoint. She uses that western foundation to look for inspiration in old and new experiences. She looks at art as communication across cultures, time and experiences.”
Bio Cathryne Trachok
Cathryne Trachok has been an artist for the past 40 years. She has a BFA from the University of Nevada, attended Art Center College of Design, worked in commercial art, illustrated children's books, and done public artworks. She is a fine artist working and living in Napa, CA. Still learning about her craft, and traveling the country gathering inspiration and materials for new paintings along the way.
