Barbara A. Parish
Barbara A Parish is a professional watercolor artist, workshop teacher and author of watercolor instruction books. Her colorful, sensitive paintings of flowers and landscapes are executed in the tradition of classical realism using time–honored techniques.
Parish’s artworks have been exhibited in prestigious shows, receiving awards and recognition. She is a Signature Emeritus member of Women Artists of the West. She is also a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society, and Watercolor West.
Parish is an active art teacher, offering plein air workshops, lectures with demonstrations, and classroom instruction. She is also an exhibition judge and author of three published watercolor instruction books with another on the way for 2026, Watercolor—Composition and Design:The Visual Story.
